Veterans Day was celebrated Tuesday morning with a parade that began at the Modesto Library and traveled down I Street to the Gallo Center for the Arts, where a ceremony was held to honor those who’ve served our nation in the armed forces.
The parade was sponsored by the Veterans Chamber of Commerce NorCal, which posted on its Facebook page afterward, “Thank you all for coming out to enjoy the event this morning. Giving US veterans your time and attention, thanking them and making this day about their sacrifice is important in our community.”…
