Local comedian Anthony Krayenhagen, 38, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of threatening an elected county official, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office.
Krayenhagen allegedly said something during a phone call on Nov. 13 that the official perceived as a threat on his or her life, said Detective Royjindar Singh.
The official, who reportedly knows Krayenhagen, then reported the call to the Sheriff’s Office. The agency obtained an arrest warrant for Krayenhagen the next day, Singh said. The Sheriff’s Office’s Special Investigations Unit was assigned the case…
