According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located a stolen Amazon delivery vehicle that had been taken out of Lodi Police Department’s jurisdiction. When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver “chose the wrong kind of ‘express delivery’ and led deputies on a brief pursuit.”
The vehicle finally came to a stop at Sutter Street and Washington Street in Stockton, where the driver tried to make a fast getaway on foot, according to SJCSO. Deputies, with the help of a K-9, apprehended the suspect.
“Tis’ not the season to steal,” SJCSO said…
