A pedestrian was killed early Friday morning when struck by a car on Paradise Road in west Modesto.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m., a sedan was traveling eastbound on Paradise near Leon Avenue and struck the pedestrian, Modesto Police Department said. Officers and other emergency personnel responded and provided medical aid, but the man died from his injuries.
