Stockton 99 Speedway operator Tony Noceti critically injured in head-on collision

The daughters of Tony Noceti, operator of the Stockton 99 Speedway, said Monday that he and their stepmother, Rowena Noceti, were critically injured over the weekend in a head-on traffic collision.

Another driver entered their lane when attempting to pass another vehicle in dense fog. The family did not say where the accident took place. Both sustained “critical, life-threatening injuries and required emergency surgery,” the family said.

On the website for the Tony Noceti Group, Noceti describes himself as “a French Camp farmer, entrepreneur and auto racer.” He said he cranked up the “dormant” Stockton 99 Speedway, which has had a devoted following reaching back nearly eight decades, in 2009.
