A student who displayed what turned out to be a replica of a firearm at a Patterson school was arrested, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to Patterson High School at about 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, after a report that a student had a firearm inside his backpack and had displayed it to another student, according to a news release.
