After sitting vacant for a number of months, a building on Prescott Road in Modesto soon will be filled.
Furniture and appliance store American Freight announced its bankruptcy and closure in November 2024. It’s unclear when the closing sales ended at the 1800 Prescott Road store and the doors shut for good, but Ross Dress for Less is now gearing up to take over.
An opening date has not been announced, and during a Wednesday evening visit, it appeared construction inside had just begun…
