Stockton Unified hosts Holiday Express as families face grief, financial strain

STOCKTON, Calif. — Right ahead of the holidays, hundreds of families in Stockton received a boost of support as the city continues to heal from a November mass shooting that left 13 hurt and four dead– including a Stockton Unified School District student.

The District hosted its third annual Holiday Express event Saturday in downtown Stockton, providing toys, games and $50 Target gift cards to families across the district.
