Stockton Police Collect 277 Firearms in Gun Buyback Effort to Prevent Violence

To reduce gun violence, the Stockton Police Department held a Gun Buyback event last Saturday, collecting 277 firearms. According to the Stockton Police Department’s Post, most were legally owned but unwanted, and the program aimed to prevent improperly stored guns from falling into the wrong hands. The no-questions-asked initiative allowed residents to safely dispose of firearms they no longer wished to keep.
