Stockton police are investigating a battery on an officer incident that occurred in the 700 block of North El Dorado Street in the Civic District. At around 4 p.m., officers were on a call near the area when a suspect identified as Lance Matsumoto, 57, approached them, screamed and spat on their patrol vehicles.
