Residents attended the Stockton City Council meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 9, to denounce the council’s bickering and demand action on gun violence following a mass shooting at a toddler’s birthday party that left three children and one adult dead.
The Nov. 29 shooting at the Monkey Space banquet hall killed four people: 8-year-olds Journey Rose Reotutar Guerrero and Maya Lupian, 14-year-old Amari Peterson and 21-year-old Susano Archuleta. At least 13 others were wounded.
