Stockton braces for atmospheric river as Pineapple Express heads for region

The Stockton area will be hit by showers Wednesday morning before clearing briefly as an atmospheric river moves through, but heavy rain is expected to return Thursday night and linger through Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday night, expect patchy fog and increasing clouds, with lows around 45. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 56, followed by a slight chance of showers late Thursday night and a low near 49, according to the NWS forecast.
