Modesto Irrigation District Board split on alleged water misuse probe

(FOX40.COM) — The Modesto Irrigation District Board of Directors has voted not to move forward with any additional investigation following allegations that one of their own members improperly used district water outside of MID boundaries.

The vote came after a months-long third-party investigation and a divided 2-2 vote during a recent board meeting. The deadlock means no further action will be taken at this time.
