The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory Sunday morning for San Joaquin County and areas south of Sacramento, while a traffic advisory was issued for motorists traveling across Bay Area bridges.
The fog advisory runs through 7-10 a.m. and warns of low visibility of a quarter mile or less in the northern parts San Joaquin County, especially along Interstate Highway 5.
The Weather Service said driving could be hazardous and recommended using low-beam headlights, leaving extra distance between the next vehicle, and slowing down, if out on the road during the advisory…
