Areas of Central Valley put on flood watch heading into next week

Areas of Northern California and the Central Valley are on flood watch going into next week as periods of heavy rainfall are expected through Monday, the National Weather Service says.

Areas of the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys, including Stockton, and the adjacent foothills are under flood watch through 11 a.m. Sunday.
