Stockton woman arrested for DUI after vehicle crashes into Lathrop home

(FOX40.COM) — A Stockton woman was arrested for driving under the influence after allegedly crashing a vehicle into a Lathrop home on Sunday morning.• Video above: States with the most strict DUI laws

According to the Lathrop Police Department, a vehicle crashed into a home near the intersection of Noel Street and Somoa Lane. No residents were inside the room that was impacted by the crash.

Lathrop police said their officers responded to the scene and started an investigation. Police identified the driver as Alexis Nicole Castellon, 28, of Stockton, who they say had been driving while under the influence and was arrested for DUI.

LPD reported Castellon was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail. Later, officers determined that her driver’s license was previously suspended and that she was on probation for a prior DUI-related offense.

“Recent rainy weather has created hazardous driving conditions throughout the area,” LPD said. “Drivers are reminded to reduce speed, remain attentive and make responsible decisions when operating a vehicle.”…
