San Joaquin Delta College closed its Stockton campus at noon Tuesday after most campus buildings were left without heat, prompting administrators to send employees home while keeping limited student services open days before the start of the spring semester.
Students were notified of the closure at 11:48 a.m. through a campus-wide email citing a “lack of heat in most Delta College buildings.” The message announced the Stockton campus would close effective at noon and said an update on campus status for Wednesday would be provided by 7 p.m. Tuesday.
