$50,000 investigation clears Jason Lee of any wrongdoing in Stockton Wild ‘N Out show

(FOX40.COM) — A $50,000 investigation spearheaded by the Stockton City Council and funded by taxpayers determined that Vice Mayor Jason Lee is cleared of all allegations of abuse of power and misuse of funds related to a recent Wild ‘N Out comedy show.

Wild ‘N Out is a sketch comedy and battle rap improv game show created and hosted by actor, artist, and comedian Nick Cannon. The show, which has aired on MTV and VH1, is filmed in front of a live audience. Lee, who has relationships with celebrities, including Nick Cannon, brought the show to Stockton on May 24, 2025. Several months later, in August 2025, Lee was accused of misusing city funds and influencing Stockton city staff to break policies on behalf of the show.
