Quick Response by Modesto and Stanislaus Firefighters Averts Disaster at Ceres House Fire

Last Thursday morning, smoke was seen rising from a house on Hackett Road in Ceres, prompting calls to Stanislaus Regional 911 and a rapid response from local fire departments. Firefighters training nearby at the Kevin Wise Training Tower joined crews from Modesto Fire and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire to quickly tackle the blaze, as reported by the Modesto Fire Department.
