Turlock police seek community members to advise chief

Turlock’s police chief is seeking community members to serve on the advisory board that provides input to the department.

The Community Advisory Board to the Chief of Police is made up of residents who offer insight, perspective and recommendations to Police Chief Jason Hedden. The board first met in 2021 and consisted of 11 members.

Board members, who will serve a two-year term, help review crime trends, department policies, community concerns, technology and deployment strategies. They are expected to attend scheduled meetings, provide feedback and adhere to a code of conduct…
