Stockton, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near March Lane Results in Injuries

Stockton, CA (January 14, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on I-5 northbound near the March Lane off-ramp caused injuries on Tuesday, January 13, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash involved a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a white small SUV. Investigators indicated that the vehicles came into contact in the northbound lanes between Alpine Avenue and March Lane, forcing at least one vehicle onto the right shoulder. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing the white SUV pull in behind the pickup truck shortly before the collision occurred.

CHP officers responded and secured the area while Freeway Service Patrol assisted with traffic control and vehicle removal. Those involved were assessed for injuries, and medical assistance was provided on site. At least one individual required further evaluation, though officials have not confirmed whether anyone was transported to a hospital. Both vehicles sustained property damage, and tow trucks were dispatched to clear the roadway.
