Around 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 27, 2025, the Manteca Police Department responded to the Great Wolf Lodge at 2500 Daniel Street for reports of vehicle burglaries in the parking lot. When officers arrived at the scene, they found 48 vehicles burglarized. Police said thieves broke the windows and stole valuables, including guns.

According to MPD, three suspects were identified, and on Thursday, two of them were arrested outside of a Roseville courthouse. Police said Damiano Ray, 20, and Juan Mateo, 22, were attending a hearing for other vehicle burglary charges before their arrest. They were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
“The subsequent crime in Roseville shows what happens when theft suspects are not immediately captured or held in custody after their capture,” MPD said. “This is an involved case that also has DNA left at the scene that likely will be used to further identify 1 of the suspects.”…
