Winton, CA (January 16, 2026) — Deputies responded to a report of a possible domestic incident in the Winton area Tuesday evening, according to law enforcement officials.
Authorities said that at approximately 8:30 p.m., deputies located a vehicle matching the description of one believed to be involved in the incident near the intersection of Shaffer Road and Palm Avenue. When deputies attempted a traffic stop, the driver failed to yield, leading officers on a brief pursuit.
The driver, later identified as 20-year-old Izik Torrez, pulled into a residence in the 6500 block of Eucalyptus Avenue and ran inside the home. Deputies followed and took Torrez into custody without further incident…
