It’s the news no one in Tracy wanted to hear. The Macy’s on Naglee Road is officially closing. After 16 years of being the anchor of West Valley Mall, corporate has decided to pull the plug. A spokesperson confirmed they are closing “underproductive” locations to focus elsewhere. But what does this mean for us? When the big anchor leaves, the food court and the smaller shops usually suffer.
