Comedienne Vicki Lawrence brings her most famous character from “The Carol Burnett Show,” Mama, to a show at the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto. Music and art also are planned in the region from Jan. 31 to Feb. 6.

The “Vicki Lawrence & Mama: A Two-Woman Show,” featuring the Emmy Award-winning comedienne, will play at the Gallo Center. Lawrence was part of the legendary cast of “The Carol Burnett Show.“ On that show, she created the character of Thelma Harper, better known as “Mama.“ Lawrence later starred in “Mama’s Family“ for a six-year run. Limited tickets were available.
