RIPON, Calif. — One person is dead after an overnight house fire in Ripon.
The Ripon Consolidated Fire District responded to reports of a structure fire in the area of South Frederick Avenue and West Ripon Road. The call came in around 12:45 a.m., and the first fire engine arrived not long afterward.
Crews encountered heavy fire conditions inside a single-story, single-family home. Ripon Fire said suppression efforts were challenged by an “unusually large amount of personal property stored throughout the structure.”…
