Opera Modesto is joining forces with the Great Valley Museum and Planetarium and Modesto Junior College to present “Goodnight Moon.”
The program, set for Feb. 12, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Great Valley Museum and Planetarium, features soprano Emily Gallagher and pianist Andrew Pham and centers on themes of night, dreams, and the moon, bringing together classical and musical theater selections that explore composers’ musical responses to the night sky. The immersive recital is paired with a live planetarium presentation created specifically for the program.
Gallagher, a Los Angeles–based soprano, has appeared in concert and opera productions across the U.S. and internationally. She most recently performed the role of Maguelonne in Opera Modesto’s production of “Cendrillon.” Pham is a collaborative pianist based in Eugene, Oregon, and serves as Opera Modesto’s resident collaborative pianist, with extensive experience working with opera companies nationwide…
