Armed intruders forced their way into a Manteca home on Wednesday, confronted two people inside, and then fled, police said. The break-in occurred in the 3200 block of Lost Coast Street and involved at least three suspects who escaped by car before officers arrived. It is still unclear whether anything was stolen, and no arrests have been announced.
What police say
According to ABC10, Manteca police said the suspects forced their way into the house while armed. Officers described the getaway vehicle as a newer-model Honda Accord that left the neighborhood shortly after the intrusion. At the time of the report, it was still unclear whether anything had been stolen, and detectives described the case as open and active.
