A 44-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Stockton early Wednesday morning, police said.
The shooting was reported at 12:33 a.m. near South El Dorado and East Church streets. The victim was walking in the area when he was struck by gunfire. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, according to Stockton police.
