Pavement, the back-to-basics rock band Tokay High School graduates Scott Kannberg and Stephen Malkmus dreamed up in Gary Young’s Stockton garage in 1989, has released an official soundtrack album on major streaming platforms.
The album, “Louder Than You Think: A Lo-Fi History of Gary Young & Pavement,” comes on the heels of a Bandcamp listening party. There, fans got early access to never-before-heard tracks from Stockton’s music scene recorded by what Spin magazine named one of The 50 Greatest Bands of All Time…
