Home Oxygen Company — a Modesto, California-based supplier specializing in respiratory, nebulizer and sleep apnea equipment — now has a delivery fleet that runs entirely on electricity.
The company said in a Feb. 10 announcement that switching its delivery fleet to Chevrolet BrightDrop Zevo vans is “strengthening delivery reliability and operational consistency across its home medical equipment services.”
By taking the step to standardize delivery operations around purpose-built electric vehicles, “Home Oxygen Company is reducing variability across its delivery footprint and increasing control over response time, routing and performance accountability,” the announcement added. “The fleet transition supports predictable service windows and minimizes disruptions that can occur with aging or inconsistent vehicles.”…
