MODESTO, Calif. — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday evening on Pelandale Avenue in Modesto, according to the Modesto Police Department.
Officers were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. to Pelandale Avenue near Prescott Road following reports of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian. The adult woman died as a result of her injuries.
