A suspicious death that shut down Highway 128 in Napa for hours last week may be related to the abduction of Tracy resident Avtar Singh, investigators have found.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports Tuesday of a missing person near the 16000 block of West Grant Line Road, near the Tracy Gurdwara Sahib, a Sikh temple where Singh reportedly worked.
“During the investigation, surveillance footage showed a white SUV and three unidentified individuals dressed in dark clothing with the victim at approximately 2:30 PM,” the sheriff’s office posted to Facebook. “The victim appears to have entered the vehicle against his will.”…
