A beloved pizzeria opened its first location in the Central Valley.
Pizza My Heart, a Central Coast based pizzeria, opened on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 2682 Naglee Road #120 in Tracy, at the former space of MOD Pizza. The family-owned pizza company has multiple locations in the Central Coast and the Bay Area. The new location marks the 29th location for the beach town company.
“We started a very soft opening in the middle of December. Because we hand toss every pizza, training cooks takes an incredibly long time. We found that we could train them by just doing takeout and delivery from the new Tracy location,” said Chuck Hammers, owner of Pizza My Heart, who also goes by “Big Cheese.” “Once we felt that they were gaining speed, then we decided to open up for slices this past Wednesday.”…
