February 27, 2026 – CHP officials reports that on February 24, 2026, a Central Division K-9 officer conducted a traffic stop on I-5 within Stanislaus County and discovered approximately 11 pounds of fentanyl powder hidden in the vehicle’s trunk.
The driver was taken into custody without incident. The estimated street value of the seized fentanyl is $1.1 million.
