Amazon will begin operation of a next-generation fulfillment center in north Modesto within the next two months, a spokeswoman said.
Natalie Banke, representing Amazon, said the facility at the southeast corner of Kiernan Avenue and Tully Road will be a same-day fulfillment center, enabling customers to receive purchases within hours of placing the orders.
