Jamestown man charged for human trafficking and firearm possession, authorities say

STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. — A Jamestown man was arrested March 5 by detectives after being suspected of human trafficking, Stanislaus County Sheriff says.

Joshua Talman, 36, was taken into custody on the charges of pimping, pandering, possession of a stolen firearm, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm, and possession of metal knuckles.

The sheriff office’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) team suspected Talman after they began investigating a 30-year-old victim of a sex trafficking case on March 3.
