(FOX40.COM) — The Modesto Police Department announced that the city’s automated traffic safety program, created to help reduce red-light running and prevent crashes, has expanded.
The program consists of cameras being placed in high-collision intersections. Within the first 30-days after placement, drivers who run red lights will receive a warning notice in the mail.
