The Stockton Police Department shared information about its ‘Teaching Not Tickets’ program, which now focuses on the HAWK (High-Intensity Activated crossWalK) signal. The HAWK signal helps pedestrians cross busy streets safely by staying dark until activated, then flashing yellow and turning solid red for drivers while showing a “Walk” signal for pedestrians.
