Modesto police said the DUI checkpoint will start at 8 p.m. and last until 3 a.m.
DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on data showing incidents of impaired driving-related crashes, MPD said. It’s used to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off the road.
