New businesses around Stanislaus, for ‘loverz’ of vintage, trampolines, Asian fare

Visits to thrift stores can be a shopping adventure. Some are more fun than others, but most can yield unique finds and treasures if you know where to look.

Diego Ruiz and his wife, Brenda Pedraza, are pros when it comes to sourcing the items the cool kids covet. They started about two years ago by reselling secondhand items with custom embroidery at vintage stores around town. Working with the stores, they became interested in expanding their business.

​“We actually got familiar with the vintage clothing and secondhand clothing, and it really intrigued us. So little by little, we got into it,” said Ruiz.
