(FOX40.COM) — A community conversation is underway in Modesto as city leaders and residents consider whether Cesar Chavez Park should be renamed.
The discussion comes as the decades-old park undergoes a major $17 million renovation funded by state and local dollars. Planned upgrades include a new skate park, an aquatic center, water slides, expanded green space, additional sports courts, and other improvements.
