2 arrested for having child in presence of drugs, guns

(FOX40.COM) — Two people are facing child endangerment charges after San Joaquin County authorities served a search warrant at a home and found a 4-year-old child in the presence of multiple loaded guns and pounds of illegal drugs.

Trevor Canterberry and Toni Sanchez were arrested March 18, the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office announced in a news release.

Authorities seized from the home:

  • Four loaded pistols
  • Roughly 2 pounds of cocaine
  • Roughly 2 pounds of meth
  • Multiple bottles of alprazolam
  • Psilocybin mushrooms
  • Promethazine
  • Roughly 1.75 pounds of marijuana
