(FOX40.COM) — Authorities are investigating a Lockeford recreational vehicle business after receiving reports of possible fraudulent sales involving consigned RVs, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation into Carson Pass RV began March 14 after officials were alerted to allegations that vehicles placed on consignment may have been sold without notifying their rightful owners.
Detectives have since determined that multiple RVs may have been sold without proper notification to owners and without completing required Department of Motor Vehicles documentation, SJCSO said…
