Stockton residents to weigh in on Chavez name at public meeting

STOCKTON, Calif. — Stockton leaders are weighing the future of a public space named after Cesar Chavez as community members prepare to share their views Monday night.

Stockton Councilmember Mario Enriquez is hosting a listening session at Oak Park Senior Center at 6 p.m. Monday, nearly 10 days after sexual assault allegations against Chavez surfaced.
