(FOX40.COM) — Concerns are growing in Modesto over a group of grocery store janitorial workers who say they are now making less money and losing benefits.
Modesto councilmember Chris Ricci said about 40 janitors working at local Save Mart stores have seen their pay cut by several dollars an hour and have also lost health benefits and pensions.
He is now calling for action, saying the changes are hurting workers who were already relying on those jobs to make ends meet…
