(FOX40.COM) — A 22-year-old Tracy man was arrested Tuesday after fleeing officers on a bicycle and attempting to hide near a creek.
Officers with the Tracy Police Department responded to a welfare check near 11th Street and Corral Hollow Road for a person believed to be under the influence. Upon arrival, officers contacted Raul Rodriguez-Lozano, who authorities said had multiple outstanding warrants.
As officers attempted to detain him, Tracy police said Rodriguez-Lozano fled on a bicycle, prompting a coordinated search. Police used Flock Condor camera technology in the area to track his movements, officials said.
Rodriguez-Lozano was seen crossing a creek near Plasencia Fields before trying to conceal himself under a bush, TPD said. Officers pursued him across the creek and took him into custody without further incident despite the difficult terrain and water conditions.
Police reported that Rodriguez-Lozano has been arrested 15 times by the department since January 2025…
