(FOX40.COM) — A San Joaquin County jury has again convicted Alejandro Duran Mercado of second-degree murder in the 2021 fatal shooting of a man in Lodi, prosecutors said.
The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office announced the verdict following a retrial stemming from an earlier conviction that was overturned on appeal due to a jury instruction issue.
