BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRC) — An Alabama mother is facing manslaughter charges after she allegedly injected her toddler son’s feeding tube with an unknown liquid mixture.
Per WEAR, 22-year-old Kaitlynn Dominick brought her 17-month-old son to the hospital on May 4 for treatment. The boy passed away the next morning, and hospital staff said lab results from the child prompted them to make a mandatory report to the Alabama Department of Human Resources.
Dominick’s son reportedly had a condition that required a surgically implanted gastric feeding tube.
