This week, a local restaurant was serving up more than just slices of pizza. They served up slices of summer fun during their kids’ “Master Pizza Chef class”, an opportunity for children to gather at the restaurant and take part in a hands-on pizza-making class.

Finding activities that keep children entertained during the summer can be a challenge. Parents are always looking for opportunities that are fun, educational, and don’t involve another day in front of a screen or hours spent battling Alabama’s summer heat. Thankfully, Lost Pizza has found a recipe for bringing families together in a way that’s both memorable and delicious.
Earlier this week, my friend and her young son had the opportunity to attend one of their pizza-making classes, and it quickly became one of their favorite summer experiences
Like many kids, her son already loves Lost Pizza’s incredible pizza, so the chance to learn how it’s made was something they couldn’t stop talking about. From the moment they walked through the door, my friend said the staff made every child feel welcome. With smiles, patience, fun questions, and plenty of encouragement, they guided the young chefs through each step of the pizza-making process from stretching fresh dough and spreading the sauce to adding cheese and choosing their favorite toppings.
Watching the excitement on the children’s faces was almost as enjoyable as eating the finished product. There was laughter, sauce in unexpected places, and an unmistakable sense of pride as each child dined on their own pizza fresh out of the oven…
